I have been WEJF’s Executive Director since February 2021. Some Wisconsin attorneys may remember me as their law firm’s Westlaw rep from 2005 to 2011. For the decade between Westlaw and WEJF, I worked in law firm management. I first learned about WEJF when I was a firm marketing manager, attended an Eisenberg Dinner with my spouse that year, and we became WEJF donors. My husband was later appointed to the WEJF Board of Directors and served as President in 2017 before rolling off the board a few years later. In the meantime, I served in various leadership roles with the Wisconsin chapter of JDRF, a charity dedicated to improving the management of and finding a cure for type 1 diabetes.
I feel very lucky to continue working in the legal community, using my marketing and financial management expertise for a cause that is so near and dear to my heart, like WEJF. I’ve learned a lot in the past two years about the injustices people face when facing financial hardship in our society. Thank you for being a WEJF supporter and helping diminish those injustices’ effects. I’m so grateful for your generosity and kindness!
