Lisa Preston is Legal Director, Global Supply Chain at Johnson Controls. She has been on the WEJF Board of Directors since 2021 and also serves as WEJF President-Elect.

Lisa says, “I support WEJF because I think it’s important to nurture programs that provide legal assistance to our most vulnerable populations on life-impacting matters where there is no right to counsel. Navigating the legal system is incredibly difficult without representation. Yet, people with the fewest resources are often left to fend for themselves when facing potentially devastating consequences such as eviction, loss of government support, or barriers to employment. WEJF provides funding for the three wonderful partner organizations that fight every day for justice for their clients.”

We are so grateful that Lisa gives so much of her time to WEJF and for her support of civil legal aid in Wisconsin! We can’t wait to see what she does in 2024 at WEJF President!
