Anza D’Antonio, Legal Director at Fiskars Group, is President of the WEJF Board of Directors for 2022. During her tenure as President, she has led new outreach to lapsed donors, implemented a new board mentor program for new WEJF Board members, and improved WEJF’s strategic focus and effectiveness by streamlining financial reporting to the Board.

Anza has worked in corporate legal departments since 2006, but she started her legal career as a staff attorney at WEJF beneficiary Judicare Legal Aid. There she assisted with grant writing and development efforts and served low-income individuals and families in the areas of Family Law and Disability Rights. Anza recently posted the following insights, “In Wisconsin, 831,087 people live below 125% of the poverty line. There are no quick or easy fixes to eliminate poverty. But civil legal aid is a proven tool that can lift people out of poverty… Access to civil legal aid is access to justice. [emphasis added]”
